I started using Monat for about a year now – my hair is quite frizzy and monat black reviews thick so I needed something that would smooth it down quite a bit. I like that you don’t have to use a lot of the product to see its effectiveness – so that’s a bonus as it lasts a long time. The smell of the product is great, and it makes your hair smell great too. I enjoy using the leave-in conditioner as a smoothing creme (with dry hair) right before I leave for work in the mornings.

- Upon digging further, I’m shocked it’s in haircare products at all.
- My hair was super clean and Bear’s hair looked amazing.
- There are some active ingredients in this formulation shown to support hair quality and appearance.
- My suspicion is that Surface cleanses the hair more gently and doesn’t rough up the cuticle so much in the shampoo process.
PEGs are banned in Europe and rated a 3 on the EWG scale, though the ingredients they are often contaminated with – ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane are rated a 10 and 8 respectively (source).
I would think that if they didn’t use harmful fragrance or monat makeup vanishing balm reviews PEGs, monat ir clinical hair thinning defense reviews they’d be happy to reach out to me to set the record straight. Their label says fragrance and they are unwilling to share what exactly that does or does not include.

Honestly, I barely read the email before I replied saying “YES HELP ME!!! Within a week a package from Monat arrived with the Monat Revive Shampoo and Conditioner. The package also came with a note and follow-up email with explicit instructions on how to wash my hair, stressing the importance of rinsing and repeating. Roughly 95% of all synthetic fragrance is derived from petroleum, crude oil. I have been using Monat for 7 months and I am not seeing much of a difference with my hair.
I have very fine and thin hair and it still just lays flat most days. I have used the smoothing and volume system and just not enjoying it. Pretty sure I do have some strands of hair that have broken off because of this. Rejuveniqe Oil is the best formulation of the three, because it contains active ingredients that are clinically shown to have an anti-aging effect, and only contains three fragrance ingredients. The ingredients in Monat Sleep Drops, which is a dietary supplement used to promote optimal sleep quality and duration, are shown above.
